The Team - Cloud & Enterprise Applications
Advise fast growing companies and well-known enterprises (both publicly traded and privately held) on a wide variety of projects using Microsoft D365 Business Central / NAV or D365 Finance and Supply Chain and the Microsoft stack of integrated technologies, and external integrated systems such as EDI, hand scanners, and warehouse equipment.
Your Impact
As a D365 Finance and Supply Chain Solution Architect, you will be responsible for translating clients' requirements into platform solutions primarily using D365 Finance and Supply Chain development tools.
You will be responsible for the delivery of D365 Finance and Supply Chain configurations, custom development, and code integration.
Manage the assignment of tasks to other technical resources in your group, track their progress, and obtain updates to be delivered to internal stakeholders and project managers weekly.
Convert functional designs of clients' processes and requirements into D365 Finance and Supply Chain technical designs and solutions, including system integrations and recommended ISV's or 'best of breed' solutions.
Be an active member of the Dynamics eco-system via thought leadership (presentations, white papers) and relationships with Microsoft functional and technical teams.
Work with the functional team to Architect, design and develop full-lifecycle solutions for Dynamics as needed.
Contribute to best practices for customization standards, change control, general architecture, unit testing, test scripts, and bug and issue tracking.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality customizations.
Contribute to a highly experienced, collaborative team, including mentoring and discussion groups on new technologies and low friction solutions to business problems.
Prepare clients to use the ERP solution by executing testing plans and working with functional consultants.
Manage customer relationships by providing support, answering questions, and resolving concerns and issues.
Work with different groups within the organization (accounting, FP&A, and operations).
Actively participating in career development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
5 years of D365 Finance and Supply Chain/AX implementation experience in the Microsoft eco-system.
Experience with .NET. C#, X , Visual Studio, Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), Power App, Power BI, JavaScript, HTML, SSRS, SSIS, and SQL.
Experience with Azure DevOps and Version Control Systems (TFS) and AOT.
Understanding of typical software development lifecycles (Waterfall, Agile) and their associated lifecycle artifacts.
IT experience performing complex application development projects on the Microsoft stack.
Experience architecting solutions involving Dynamics customizations, including server-side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies and plug-ins.
Experience architecting business solutions based on SQL Server database, reporting and integration services.
Experience with object-oriented design and Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
Experience in documenting and performing analysis of client environments including technology strategy, current technology architecture, organizational structure, and business processes.
Ability and eagerness to constantly learn and teach others.
Flexibility to travel up to 25%. Non-essential travel has been suspended during the pandemic per MFC policy.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Knowledge of D365 Finance and Supply Chain / AX Architecture (layers, models, tiers).
Azure database management and tuning tools.
Tier 1 or Tier 2 consulting experience.
Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
