Responsibilities

Participating in design and code reviews to maintain our high development standards
Ensure high quality software through adherence to Test Driven Development (TDD) as the foundation of development and enabling CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
A proven team player, you'll have the opportunity to provide hands-on leadership while taking an active role in collaborative assessments and design
Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of cloud tools and services
Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause); engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; formulating an action plan; performing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; performs root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and completing online documentation


Required Qualifications


Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
10 years of full stack software development on web and client/server solutions
Demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft Tech Stack: SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure, .Net Framework, Azure DevOps (ADO), C#, .NET Framework, MS SQL;
Expert in ASP.NET technologies including MVC and WebAPI
Demonstrating familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, Node.js
Expert knowledge with SQL and T-SQL
Professional experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
6 years of experience writing SQL/Functions/Procedures in transactional database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
Deep understanding of developing Web-services, HTML UI, CSS and JavaScript
Solid conceptual understanding of UI, threading, memory management, and REST APIs
2 or more years of experience in Rabbit MQ/Kafka Messaging queue technologies
1 or more years of experience in DevOps tools (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub)
Experience in Docker and Kubernetes


Preferred Qualifications


Deep understanding of developing Web-services, HTML UI, CSS and JavaScript
Experience with Eclipse IDE and Spring Framework
Experience in cloud development
Experience in Document based NoSQL database like MongoDB
Understanding of Containerization concepts
Master's Degree

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

At a minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; a wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections can be used only if approved by leadership.

Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/ HIPAA information.
