Systems Engineering – Project Delivery Specialist - Lead .Net Developer

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
• You will work as a Team Lead Net Onsite Coordinator/Developer with additional responsibilities working as a Scrum Master for a small team.
• Conduct scrum ceremonies during sprint sessions.
• You will meet with stakeholders to understand requirements and help translate them into user stories/backlog items
• You will support and enhance custom .NET applications and API’s.
• You will support various third-party applications
• You will support and enhance batch processes and ETL jobs
• You will work on a wide variety of technical environments and must have skills in .Net development, API’s, Webservices, and SQL
• You will work with the Client Manager and the team to help them in requirement analysis, prioritization, and release planning. You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.
• You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
• You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.
• You will work on both maintenance and development projects.
• You will provide on-call assistance as needed.
• You will be encouraged to actively look for innovation and continuous improvement, efficiency in all assigned tasks.
The Team
The US Systems Engineering Offering delivers large scale software applications and integrated systems and assists its clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. The practice aims at developing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems. It would focus on key client issues that impact the core business by delivering operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation.
Qualifications Required
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
• Project Delivery Specialist: 6 – 9 years of experience
• Hands on experience in a .NET APP, .NET Web services & Web API, C#, SQL Server Data Tools, MS SQL & Oracle Database.
• Understanding of Agile methodology and working experience in Scrum Framework to effectively conduct scrum ceremonies.
• Understanding of DevOps methodology such as CI/CD, automated testing and code quality checks. Tools such as GITHUB, Azure DevOps, Sonarqube etc.
• Demonstrate skills in coordinating activities, evaluating data, problem-solving and decision-making.
• A basic understanding of support methodologies like ITIL is desired and should have familiarity with different metrics and SLAs.
• Self-motivated and able to take the initiative to resolve technical issues.
• Familiarity of working in an Agile framework.
• Good analytical skills to support incidents and issues reported by business users.
• Hands-on experience in both maintenance and development projects.
• Good communication skills to understand requirements and translating it to user stories.
• A basic understanding of support methodologies like ITIL is desired and should have familiarity with different metrics and SLAs.
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to Columbus, GA
• Limited Sponsorship may be available
• Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

• Experience of Insurance industry
• Scrum Master Certification
• Solution Architect knowledge
